This game has no difficulty selection and no fireballs that reflect to the opponents side as special attacks. Things get pretty stale as a result, especially if you pick a character with a long charge speed. What's cool is animated stage backgrounds and that battles have a timer so they don't go on forever if nobody dies. With only a few improvements, I feel like this could be better than the original PoDD, but I don't think it's there yet.
Kotohime is pretty broken, as she has a very fast charge and her Level 3 charge shot is pretty hard to dodge for the AI. Marisa angered me, so she got to feel the full force of Kotohime's power.
Drillimation Systems is a group that took on the task of recreating the five Touhou PC-98 games as if they were released on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I am not sure if the word demake is chosen correctly, as these games are using at times more advanced technology and systems than the original PC-98 games - usually taken from later entries in the series.
The games also differ from the originals in many other instances, most notably presenting a much lower difficulty, with Lunatic being probably somewhere between Normal and Hard of the originals.
