Touhoumon World Link LP [26]: Smooth Sound & Inviso-cats
As usual, since I recorded this on a Friday night, I was pretty tired, but I talked surprisingly well through pretty much the entire video. (I was still kind of out of breath though; that's why I breathed into the mic a couple times...) I was even thinking about resting after the beginning "speech", but I was like: "Eh, I already have everything set up, might as well keep recording." So I did.
And as I mentioned plenty of times in the video, it's sooo nice to FINALLY have a new headset for recording (I've been complaining about this for almost a year now, damn). It helped make this recording session go so smoothly, and I hope it continues to do so in the future.
Also, this going to be the start of where World Link & Purple split off from each other, as I don't want to keep recording super long episodes anymore. It's pretty sad, because I've been working so hard to try and get them to match up, but I just can't keep doing it anymore.
It's really weird that these two things happened at the same time as each other; it created a weird mood with this episode. Both happy and sad news, lol. Well, I hope both of these things help create a brighter future for these two LPs, and my other LPs later down the line.
-----------------------------------------------
3:40 - I meant that if you want to compare the events in World Link to the events in Purple, you can't check ep 37 of World Link then ep 37 of Purple, as they won't properly match up anymore. You'll pretty much have to watch through every episode now to properly do that. This is what I meant to say here, but I kind of messed up (and I didn't feel like recording that part again). Sorry about the confusion.
10:17 - Yep, the Yuugi line is indeed Ground/Fighting (in World Link, at least).
26:13 - I don't know why it took me so long to notice this, but why is Ty's name in all caps?
27:19 - I don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but Razor Wind is a 60-base power Flying-type move that never misses in this game, just like in Purple. In World Link it's a replacement for Aerial Ace because it's a Steel-type move in this game (Aerial Ace is called "Swallow Return" in Japanese, which is the name of a sword technique, in case you're wondering about the random type change.)
30:15 - AChen's catch rate is 10. For comparison, a legendary Pokémon (like Zapdos) has a catch rate of 3, and a common Pokémon (like Pidgey) has a catch rate of 255. So that's REALLY low.
33:34 - Out of curiosity, I decided to check what AChen's hold items are. I doesn't have any, so I'm good.
