The final stronghold of the Nanman was incredibly steep and rocky, but Shuri, Sou, and Enya finally managed to lure the remaining Nanman forces out for once decisive battle and destroyed their numbers. I'm particularly impressed with Sou. She was in the spearhead team against the Nanman, and she was still able to spend time with her husband. She must have half a dozen kids by now.

As we were wrapping up the campaign, Touka received the news from the north. Karin, who had been dominating the north, has now declaring herself the Empress of Wei. The bandit Kouso had also declared herself Empress. With these two contenders, the people of Shu were worried that the Han would be usurped, a fear that would be proven right when Karin absorbed all of the remaining Han forces.

With the Royal Family's blessing, Touka had risen to become the Empress of Shu, vowing to restore the Han Dynasty. It seems like we'll be taking part in yet another campaign, but at least the troops won't be complaining about the jungle again.

Amidst all these bad news, we finally had some good news. Sui and her sisters have arrived to add their strength to ours. We will need their cavalry expertise for the upcoming battles.
