The TPCast Wireless adapter (link below) for my HTC Vive Virtual Reality system came in a couple days early! I unbox it, show the different pieces of the unit, set it up, and then test it out using Drunkn Bar Fight, my favorite Virtual Reality game on the Vive. First reactions - I LOVE not tripping over the cord now! BUT . . . there is some lag and connectivity issues which increased the motion sickness feel I experienced even when not having obvious visual or other game play impact. I'll have to play around with the physical setup of the receiver and wireless router that are part of the TPCast system as right now it is someone obstructed and might perform better in a more open and better line of sight location according to the instructions and my own noticing of issues when I would put my hand over the transmitter piece connected to the Vive head unit. . . . actually just finished a chat support session with TPCast. Very fast response and gave me some info - The TX Module (little box with the HDMI connection) needs to be mounted to aim at the "play area". Basically it needs to be mounted just under one of the room scale sensor base stations and oriented so that the "top" of the box is aiming at the center of the room for best line of site to the RX Module (the unit connected to the Vive headset). This might be difficult with the wires I currently have. I'll see what I can come up with and report back!
