9What at first might seem like the final conflict here definitely isn't. I don't really remember what I was expecting when first I played through this part of the game. Maybe I knew already that it wasn't the end, as I do seem to recall very briefly seeing my brother in the outer courtyard of Hyrule Castle.
At any rate, this scene is rather packed with all sort of action and emotion. Midna especially shines here, what with her dismay at finding that her curse has not been lifted, which quickly turns to an intense anger and she finishes off Zant. And then the solemn declaration that they must go and save Zelda. But Midna also has the Fused Shadows back! That's one good thing at least.
