9"Someone's been glitching," is probably what my sister told me when I showed her what I was doing and possibly explained what was amiss. Both Midna's text and the three of four flames in the torches indicate that I hadn't fought a poe, yet the gate is open. If any of you follow speedruns you'll probably know why this is. It is a little thing called Poe 1 skip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxENO1CtC4o I find it really quite easy, though it did take me awhile to get the hang of it.
Also, the lantern indicates that there's a poe in the dungeon, yet this is the room in which it should be and it isn't there. That seems to be a side effect of doing Poe 1 skip.
