Trackmania 2 Canyon BETA - Custom track road test
2Recently i've made a purchase of Trackmania 2 Canyon which put me into the multiplayer beta. however the track creator is one of the other features available to use in the beta, however only the advance creation mode is available, not that it really matters.
The track creator is just as easy to use and as vastly featured as Trackmania United Forever, hence why I the track I made in this film goes on for a bit, and goes everywhere.
the multiplayer is standard trackmania fare, time trial with other people, but i suppose it'll get expanded at some point... perhaps when the game actually comes out of beta.
The one thing that ties this altogether is the reworked engine that makes everything look stunning. Trackmania was always nice to look at (as far as United Forever as i know) so any improvements at this stage would take gold and make gold pressed Latinum. (yay star trek refference!) Although you've probably all seen the trailers so you would of figured that out on your own.
So there you have it, not that you needed me to tell you that Trackmania 2 holds up, but you can see for yourself that I've been enjoying myself. Racing isn't my favourite genre (when it is, its usually when I'm playing WipEout) but I can get behind this one, the canyon car itself is one of the most nicest handling vehicles I've driven in a video game, and that all I really want from a driving game.
