TrackMania: Creations of Randomness Episode 33 - Flawed Record [Final Episode]
0Welp, I've finally finished the track, and today, I'm validating it, so you guys can play it. Will I succeed, or will I have to try again, off camera?! :O
Track Installation Instructions:
1) You need to get TrackMania Nations Forever to play it, so download the game, and launch it once (if it asks for you to choose between "Play TrackMania Nations Forever", and "TrackMania Nations Forever Settings", choose "Play TrackMania Nations Forever") (create an account when you launch it as well): http://store.steampowered.com/app/11020/
2) Once you've done that, exit out of the game, and download the track to your desktop (click the red arrow next to ReegarTriggerUK): http://tmnforever.tm-exchange.com/main.aspx?action=trackshow&id=5709923#auto
3) Open the TrackMania: Nations Forever Settings (in the Steam version, just start TrackMania: Nations Forever, and when it asks, click "TrackMania Nations Forever Settings"), click "Help", then "Custom Data", then "Challenges".
4) When you click "Challenges", a folder should open up, called "Challenges". Move the track file from your desktop to this folder (don't worry about putting it into sub-folders, like "Downloaded", or "My Challenges").
5) Go back to "TrackMania Nations Forever Settings" windows that's currently open, and close all of the windows but the main one, and then click "Play".
6) Once you're in the game, and have logged in, from the main menu, click "Play Solo", then "Browse", then "Challenges\", and the track should be there. Double click it, and it should load. From there, have fun. :D
This is a new thing (which has been going on for quite a while now) that I wanted to try out (well, it's kinda been done before, but you know what I mean). Basically, I make a track in TrackMania Nations Forever (though the game could change), and you guys can decide in the comments section what you want to include/change, and I'll make it happen if possible.
