Despite the uncertain weather with rain before the race, nothing stopped the ATPI organisational machine. On Saturday, 5 July 2025, the fourth stage of the Italian Tractor Pulling Championship took place at the Rustega di Camposampiero (PD) fields. As always, a nice list of participants, and a big surprise: the presence of Alessandro Rocco's Four NoHemi, who performed a couple of pulls to the delight of the public. Dreaming costs nothing, but it would be nice to see the epic challenges between this tractor and the Tornado 2 in the Heavy Modified class again... Hard-fought as always, the Supersport class provided some significant challenges, but in the race, the consistently excellent Dynamite, with a 103.20-meter distance, outdistanced its rivals by a good 5 meters. A bad start in the race compromised Maverick's performance among the 600 Kg Modifieds, which then left the field free to a consistent Taz 158 that saw the first step of the podium slip away by just 2 meters to an always "agitated" but competitive Little Monsters4. Orange Shadow imposed itself well on General Lee Baby in the Piccola category. In Prosport 36, Mauro Chizzini's Speedy Gonzales 2 dominated its opponents, finishing with a 30-meter margin over the second-placed Challenge 6.6. The Light Modified race was also fantastic, where all three tractors competed in the final, which the "bomber" Joker won this time. The new turbine on the Stars & Stripes was immediately visible, and the result of the almost 100 meters reached in the race allowed the victory among the Prostocks—applause to Green Dynamite, who nevertheless put in some splendid pulling. Among the trucks this time, there was nothing to do; the Monster Black by Lanfranchi dominated both in qualifying and in the race. Interestingly, the FLF team, with its Sniper, is also experimenting with the rear single-tyre approach. We will keep an eye on the next races to see if there is a performance improvement as well. Speaking of heavy vehicles, it was nice to see "Il Brivido" back in action with a very respectable setup that would do well in the Italian championship. Who knows if the Michieletto team will decide to hit the racetracks more often? We hope so. I would like to thank the ATPI organisation for allowing me to access the competition field. Enjoy! 😉

Nonostante il meteo incerto con pioggia prima della gara, niente ha fermato la macchina organizzativa di ATPI e così Sabato 5 Luglio 2025 si è svolta la quarta tappa del campionato italiano di tractor pulling presso i campi di Rustega di Camposampiero (PD). Come sempre una bella lista di partecipanti ed un grossa sorpresa, la presenza del Four NoHemi di Alesandro Rocco che si è esibito in un paio di tirate per la gioia del pubblico. Sognare non costa niente ma sarebbe bello rivedere le sfide epiche tra questo trattore ed il Tornado 2 in classe Heavy Modified...io la butto lì. Un breve accenno alle classi, giusto per mettere in luce alcune prestazioni per nel video di highlights avrete modo di vedere tutti i partecipanti in azione. Combattuta come sempre, la Supersport ha regalato belle sfide ma in gara il sempre ottimo Dynamite con 103.20 metri ha distaccato di ben 5 metri i suoi rivali. Una partenza sbagliata in gara ha compromesso la performance di Maverick tra i Modified 600 Kg che ha quindi lasciato libero il campo ad un consistente Taz 158 che per soli 2 metri si è visto sfuggire il primo gradino del podio da un sempre "agitato" ma competitivo Little Monsters4. Orange Shadow si è imposto bene su General Lee Baby nella categoria Piccola Pulling mentre in Prosport 36 lo Speedy Gonzales 2 di Mauro Chizzini si è imposto sugli avversari chiudendo con ben 30 metri di margine sul secondo classificato, il Challenge 6.6. Molto bella anche la gara della Light Modified dove tutti e tre i trattori hanno disputato la finale che questa volta è stata conquistata dal "bombardiere" Joker. La turbina nuova sullo Stars & Stripes si è vista subito ed il risultato dei quasi 100 metri raggiunti in gara hanno permesso la vittoria tra i Prostock. Plauso al Green Dynamite che ha diputato comunque delle splendide tirata. Tra i camion questa volta non c'è stato niente da fare, il Monster Black di Lanfranchi ha dominato sia in qualifica, sia in gara con prestazioni sopra le righe. Interessante che anche il team FLF con lo Sniper stiano provando il monogomma, terremo d'occhio le prossime gare per capire se anche per loro ci sarà un miglioramento nei risultati finali. A proposito di mezzi pesanti, è stato bello rivedere in azione "Il Brivido" con un'elaborazione di tutto rispetto e che ben figurerebbe nel campionato italiano. Chissà se il team Michieletto deciderà di solcare i campi di gara più spesso, ce lo auguriamo. Come sempre ringrazio l'organizzazione di ATPI per avermi permesso di accedere al campo di gara.
