*This video is not monetized.* To make sense of this crash I flew the flight path under the real weather parameters with real world ATC dubbed in. The video starts with the holding pattern over Glendale and Griffith Park while ATC sorted out traffic around Burbank. From there the helicopter tracked the I-5 highway to the 118 and crashed into a mountain near Thousand Oaks, CA.

I hope this gives a sense of the trouble they ended up in and raise awareness of the dangers of VFR to IMC. My thoughts and prayers have been with everyone involved.
