Trail Out is a new racing game inspired by Flatout, which came out earlier this month. I have already completed the career mode and now I am going for some top leaderboard times. Here you can see the first ever lap under 3:30 on Black Lake, which is the longest race track in the game.

Black Lake is a scenic forest track around a lake, featuring both tarmac and dirt and both fast and slow sections. It was a very fun track for me to practice and master.

I tried a couple of different cars and surprisingly I ended up with an FWD car that is apparently based on the Lada Priora. This car is very fast and also offers great control on this track. Just like in my previous video I used a low tier transmission, since this actually makes the car faster. For this track I used automatic but you can probably be even faster with manual if you can use it properly.

Note that a new car was released with an update today and based on some quick testing it's probably even faster but for this run I wanted to use an old car to beat the existing record under equal conditions. Maybe I will improve my time further with the new car in the future.
