The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (PC) Trails of Cold Steel II starts a month after the ending of the first one, during the Erebonian Civil War. Rean is stranded in the Eisengard mountain range, with just Celine (voiced by Kira Buckland, known for Nier: Automata's 2B & Ys VIII's Laxia) & a damaged Valimar.
The PS3 version is limited to 30 FPS/720p, but the PC one supports unlimited resolution, framerate, & draw distance. XSEED & programmer Durante have done a great job porting it. Like the first Trails of Cold Steel, the PC version has quite a lot of additional voiced dialogue.
Falcom released a PS4 version of the first ToCS for Japan on March 8, which targets 60 FPS and up to 4K resolution. It looks very good, like the PC version while adding cross-play with PS3 & Vita. A Japanese PS4 version of ToCS II is scheduled for 4/26, which should be similar to XSEED's PC one. XSEED picking the PS4 versions up to release in the USA wouldn't be a surprise, especially if they're thinking about Trails of Cold Steel III. If XSEED does this, hopefully the extra voiced dialogue from the PC versions gets added to the PS4 ones .
The Japanese version is Eiyuu Densetsu Sen no Kiseki II (英雄伝説 閃の軌跡 II).
