Train Valley - Gameplay - Quick Look
4We take a quick look at the train simulation/micro management and puzzle game Train Valley.
This game is developed by three Russian developers, Alexey Davydov, Sergey Dvoynikov, Timofey Shargorodskiy. Together, they form development studio Flazm. They have kindly provided me with this free review copy so that I can show the game to you guys. Thanks for watching!
In this video, we’ll take a look at the menu’s, the settings, and the second scenario, to show some gameplay.
This game offers multiple games modes, such as a story mode, a random mode, and a sanbox-mode. There are 15 types of trains, that range from the early steam-powered locomotives to modern high-speed trains, such as the bullet train from Japan. The game has four regions: Europe, US, USSR and Japan, and the time period ranges from 1830 to 2020.
The goal of the game is to create tracks from station to station. These stations have a specific color. Trains will spawn from each station and will have a specific destination that they want to go to. It is up to the player to make it so the train reaches its destination safely, by creating a correct route in the first, but also by flipping track switches at the correct time. If done properly, this prevents trains from crashing into each other.
Train Valley runs perfectly fine on slower pc’s, which I think is always a good thing for many people.
