Transformers 9 is set to be developed by Michael Bay and as of right now they are close to finishing a script for the next movie in the franchise, which means they could probably go into filming the movie sometime soon... maybe by next year. Paramount has also started using Bayverse footage once again for their marketing with other brands, this could maybe indicate a push to Bayverse nostalgia in preparation for the upcoming movie.
