He is currently in talks for it with allegedly Paramount and Hasbro, however this has also been met with quite a bit of controversy from a bunch of the fandom and other groups that are not big fans of Michael Bay. There has been a big debate of whether or not this is the right thing to do for the future of the live-action Transformers movie franchise. Considering that the last 2 non-Michael Bay movies underperformed at the box office, it is possible that Paramount is trying to return to what worked in the past.
