Completed on Recruit, but with better gameplay I could very easily see it being done on Commander as well.

"Why not just use Build-Up?"

Ah, good question! Turns out, the game actually has a check to make sure you're using Highjump by placing an invisible wall right in front of the Starship's bridge and another when exiting the crashed Starship. If Highjump is equipped, these walls are removed, allowing you to proceed like expected.

This obviously introduces a problem when trying to complete this game without pressing the L1 button to jump, as the normally obvious solution to the puzzle (damage boosting with missiles) becomes significantly more challenging thanks to not being able to equip Build-Up to heal the damage off. Thus, I had to turn to another idea, one that I didn't have told to me until tonight. Kartoffel gave me the idea to use Kickback of all Mini-Cons to mitigate the damage taken from self-inflicted missile damage, as he recalled Kickback negating damage from Starscream's beam attack years prior. And as you can see from the video, his idea was not only correct, but simplified this challenge immensely. Mistakes were left in to show how flexible this strategy really is.
