The new trailer showcases all 11 playable characters including Autobots Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Elita-1, Wheeljack, and Arcee, along with Decepticons Megatron, Shockwave, Flamewar, Soundwave, Nightbird, and Nemesis Prime. Fans will begin the game playing as iconic characters Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, and will unlock additional characters as they progress. Each character comes equipped with two unique skills and a range of eight powerful weapons to customize each race. In the trailer, fans can get a first look of the power of Optimus Prime's gravitational axe throw, Bumblebee's plasma stings, Elita-1's Missile Rain, and Wheeljack's wrecking bomb.
Transformers: Galactic Trials finds the Autobots and Decepticons on an important mission to recover the Prime Relics, which grants significant power to those who hold them and have been stolen by Nemesis Prime. Battling and racing their way through the single-player Galactic Trials game mode, players will uncover relics to enhance their speed, damage, and handling. To shift gears and test their driving skills against a friend, Transformers fans can compete in the game's Arcade Mode equipped with local multiplayer for up to two people.
Transformers: Galactic Trials will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam on October 11, 2024.
