Sockfolder started playing Transistor. This is the result.

Low% seeks to beat the game while gaining as little experience as possible. There are already a good amount of fight skips in the Any% run, but other skips we discovered are slower than just fighting them, hence this category. In total, this run features 4 different methods of skipping fights:

1. Jaunt skips: As easy as jaunting around or over the triggers to a fight. Nothing special. Earliest example is the first fight in Goldwalk.

2. Boundary skip: Some fights can be started by Jaunting over the trigger, but will fail to set up the fight boundaries if you position it well. The earliest (visible) example of this is the Canals.

3. QQ Glitch: By queuing using an object, then using Turn to move close to it and Jaunting into combat, you can trigger a fight and use the object afterward. First example is Goldwalk 2, where the Channel entrance is used, but more commonly used is the SaveQQ, which saves the game while in combat then reloads to revert the game state and skip the fight.

4. OVC Glitch: First, an OVC terminal is used for a QQ glitch. Then, by taking damage and triggering Emergency Turn, Red regains the ability to move. Closing the OVC screen while in the forced movement of a transition, restores the ability to enter Turn, which will allow the movement to be cancelled and Red to retain a state of zero collision. This skips the rest of Goldwalk, among other things.

This run beats the game at level 4, rather than at level 6 like the Any% run. For reference, in an ordinary playthrough level 4 is gained after defeating Sybil. In terms of fights, this run defeats less than 50% of intended non-optional fights.

Goldwalk is skipped entirely. Pier and Canals only requires one fight. Highrise only requires one fight and skips the Spine. Bracket Towers is skipped entirely.

Of course this run is pretty awful. I got an unlucky spawn in Archives that caused a minor softlock and forced a reload, I missed the Empty Set skip once, and the pathing in Fairview trolled me to force another reload. Lastly, I used an outdated skip on the final Fairview fight. Still, this forms a good starting point for Low% Transistor speedrunning.
