Transplant, Amiga - Overlooked Oldies
Transplant is an inexplicably named shooter. A humble PD game that was way ahead of its time. It has an upgrade system that is PERSISTENT AFTER YOU DIE. This makes it have an almost roguelite quality to it. It's just amazing to me that this little independent game did what every commercial shooter failed to do at the time, not punish players for failing, but reward success.
It also has completely brilliant music. I found an upload of it here if you want to listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5ssfphPQaM
"Overlooked Oldies" is a series of let's play videos of retro games that I somehow never played back in the day. Many of them will be suggestions made by subscribers.
