Great Late Reviews - series where a random guy on the internet is gonna tell you, if the game is good or not.

Once again we are going back in time, to much simpler era, when Dragon Ball was propably my favourite animated TV show. I’m sure it was for many other kids back then as well, because plenty of other boys my age that I knew, were watching it too. Good old times when in school between lessons, or after school on a playing grounds we would argue about the lore and power levels. But I never knew about another Akira Toriyama’s creation: „Sand Land”. If I heard correctly in some random youtube video, it’s a manga just recently adapted on DisneyPlus. When I saw the trailer for the game, I knew I just had to play it.

When I first started the game, „Bandai Namco” logo reminded me of countless hours spent on Namco arcade games in gloomy gaming saloons, full of insert coin signs on screens…. And I have inserted plenty of coins in order to play those games. It was a trully golden age of gaming, because besides before mentioned player dens, we had plenty of great games on many platforms. We enjoyed titles on Nintendo and Sega consoles, we had playstations and ataris, amigas, comodores and Pcs. Trully, the amount of good entertainment was astonishing. „Sand Land” not only goes back to those days in graphical style, but also by releasing a demo version of the game to download and play, before you decide to purchase the full version of it. It is very honest practise, that reminds me it was a standard back when I was a kid. What a waste that it is not anymore...
