So I finally played "Red Dead Redemption 2"

Westerns… Westerns never change. Or do they now? Have you ever wondered why we have so many movies and shows about wild west in it’s hard beginings, in full prime, and at it’s dawn, but at the same time, not many video games at all? I thougth about it alot in my younger days, but I could never get a hang of it partner. But what a young and little knowing feller could come up with realy? Now playing „Red Dead Redemption 2” I started to think about it again, and I think I know what it is. It’s all about the diversity of characters and places, beacause we had many so called „Sphaghetti Westerns” and not so much of the memorable stories told, that we could hold on to. But what I noticed in those of the best films made in the genre was as I mentioned, diversity and a story told in a truthful and wise way, so we could get interested and invested. The construction is the same is in all other genres, but maybe just maybe those low quality mass produced „Sphaggheti Westerns” made folks think so stereotypical about westerns, that it is much harder to come through with a good quality content in the first place? Even I was guilty of that many times, even in case of the game I’m talkin’ about today. Hear me out – I was convinced by the friend of mmine to play it years ago, but I got realy annoyed with the control scheme, so I uninstalled it and never looked back… until colegue from my work strongly recomended the game recently, so I gave it another shot… and boy how happy I am that I did. But let’s not get too hasty here partner. Let me tell you a story that I was told, so you can decide for yourselves to pick it up or leave it on the table...
