At Exalted (Kirin'Tor) the mount price is 16, 000 gold. Personally, I think this mount is a bit pricey but overall it's a fair trade. You get 2 vendors that accompany you on this mount, one of which is food and another which is repairs and stuff. You can even kick 1 or both of the vendors off to make room for a friend to get on the mount.

Green-Proto Drake is like a 1% drop off the Mysterious Egg reputation item from the Oracles (obtaining from the Quartermaster upon gaining Revered reputation). It hatches in 7 days and you either get some gay food or a pet or this mount.
