In this episode of my playthrough of Pokémon Legends: Arceus...Grady speaks to Mai in Jubilife Village who claims the secret to unlocking the mysteries behind massive mass outbreaks is to utilize Mushroom Cakes. Grady gathers the Mushroom Cakes and meets with Mai at the Secret Hollow in the Alabaster Icelands. Grady meets with Mai who takes the Mushroom Cakes from Grady and then tells Grady to return to Jubilife Village to wait for a report on how successful her strategy was. Grady attempts to leave the Alabaster Icelands, but is cutoff by Lian who gives Grady some Aguav Berries as to not be outdone by Melli. Lian then reports seeing one of the massive mass outbreaks in the area and wonders if they are caused by the geology of the place they occur. Grady then returns to Jubilife Village to speak to Mai about the Mushroom Cakes strategy, but Mai doesn't recall anything about Mushroom Cakes, leading to speculation that a Pokémon might be disguising themselves as Mai and to the conclusion of the "Tricky Treat Strategy" request. Mai then reports massive mass outbreaks have been spotted in the Coronet Highlands to begin the "Massive Mass Outbreak in the Highlands" request.
