I encountered difficulties to simply launch the game, then to change the resolution, then to put it in windowed mode, quite useful post according to me. And as someone mentionned elsewhere maybe time for a remaster for this game too 😁

= " If you want to run the game in windowed mode, go to your game directory folder and go to your mm/cfg folder and create a file called autoexec.cfg
In the file, add the line "mat_setvideomode width height 1" (Set width and height to your monitor's resoultion. I use 1440p so I have it set to 2560 x 1440 so my line would be "mat_setvideomode 2560 1440 1") and save the file.
After that go to your steam library and right click the game and click properties. Add in the launch options "+exec autoexec.cfg" and start the game.
After the game starts, once it gets past the loading screen, it will automatically go into windowed mode.
It isn't amazing, but it works good enough and isn't full screen. "
