True Crime is an Activision-Owned Intellectual Property that Saw the Release of True Crime: Streets of L.A. and True Crime: New York City on the Original Xbox and Playstation 2 Systems, and the Third Entry in the Franchise, True Crime: Hong Kong Was Sold in Part (Just the in-game assets, not the IP) to Square Enix, which then turned it into Sleeping Dogs (made by the now-defunct United Front Games).

While Sleeping Dogs could see a revival of sorts (the Movie Adaptation starring Donnie Yen is STILL in Active Development of Sorts), the True Crime Franchise - Still Owned by Activision - Could See a Revival Once the ABK Deal is Finalized and Infamous Bobby "Killer" Kotick is kicked to the curb.
