Final Apex Review: Indie Arcade Racer That Packs A Big Punch (For Xbox One and Xbox Series Consoles)
0Final Apex is a fast-paced arcade racer where you can drive seven different cars on seventy different tracks. You start with one vehicle and one race unlocked – and, through finishing races, more tracks and cars are unlocked for Career and Series Game Modes. Also, there is a Test Drive option where you can drive all of the cars right away on an empty track to get used to how they handle round corners before you ever unlock them.
While this game is rather simplistic, for racing fans such as myself, it’s pure fun. It is nowhere near as complex as a game like Forza Motorsport or Grid Legends, but that does not mean that it should be overlooked or skipped. In the racing genre, there are places for Triple A, big budget racing titles like the aforementioned offerings, and there is also room for smaller, simpler racing titles that are still exciting and enjoyable, and Final Apex is one of those racing games that is easy to pick up and play whenever, and is a fast-paced, enjoyable experience.
Developed and Published by Hyper Iteration, Final Apex is an arcade racer that released April 18th, 2023 for Xbox One and Xbox Series Consoles. For this review video, I played the Xbox Series version on my Xbox Series X.
