When you don't play a game much outside of recording it can sometimes be difficult to get everything figured out what you're supposed to be doing or what happens next. This game is being pretty regular about that. It's just such an odd experience from Zelda tradition, and with an actual series of events that take place based on the day and time can make getting things in order a bit odd. For example the first time we were in the Goron village the guard wasn't there because it was the third day, but that didn't register so it was weird seeing him standing on top of the door this time around. Also I didn't pay attention to the owl and missed the cues to proceed last time because I was to hasty about moving on.
