"I don't mind speaking without the teleprompter because it's not working," he declared, off the cuff, before adding that he was glad to be in the UN's main hall.

Trump also mocked the infrastructure of the organization's headquarters building in New York. "Two things I got here at the UN: a broken escalator and a broken teleprompter," he said.
