Trying Out The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Atari 2600 Video Game)
13Yes Leatherface is blue and not green like his action figure. Yes the noises are very annoying, and yes you play as the bad guy! Which is kind of interesting.
The thing I noticed most was that you get stuck on everything. Every part of your body can hit something, even if you are walking down the middle of the level with nothing on that plane, and Franklin's wheelchair being an obstacle is pretty amusing.
The game overall is very minimal and simplistic, but interesting for it's time. You have three tanks of fuel and anytime you push the button you use it to speed up the chainsaw. Once you are out of fuel... you get a kick in the ass and start over!
