I recently played my very first SNK game, Legend of the Hungry Wolf: The Battle of Destiny (aka Fatal Fury: The King of Fighters), and I LOVED it! So I decided to pick up SNK's 40th Anniversary Collection and start working my way through their arcade roots from the late '70s to now, starting with Ozma Wars from 1979 and now tackling Sasuke vs Commander from 1980! All of these will be blind runs for me, as I've never played any of them. This game has nothing to do with Naruto except for the fact that it's about ninja lol. Let's go, Part 8!
This one got heavy! We talked about gender identity theory, mental illness, sexism, the cancer of groupthink, gang mentality, extremism, the MOTHER aka EarthBound community, Starmen.net, r/earthbound, the PK Hack Discord server, activism, critical and independent thought, Dragon Ball, localization, and lots of other fun stuff. AND I made some really great strides in the game, too! It's a doozy of a stream.
