TS2020 Train Simulator Great Western Main Line 2fer1 - Class 43 HST and Class 166
No Music.. No Talking... Just a 2fer1 unfinished runs on the Great Western Main Line.. 1st, I was looking at the Class 43 HST in blue on the GWML.. all I had to do was take an early morning run from Hereford to Paddington having just left the Cotswold line... mistakes had been made.. I never seen the red light coming... 2nd (starts around 21:30)... I jump on one of the worse stopping trains in the game (I owned a Ford Pinto with brakes like this once), although I did hear an announcer talking a bit which was nice.. The Class 166, in FGW White.. it was suppose to be a turn around from Slough to Paddington, but by time I made it half way through..I was tired of the braking system and had other real life things to do.. but the Coloring of the train and passenger interior was nice... Now really, who wants to watch just perfect runs all the time.. you live .. you learn.. enjoy my casual gaming.. "I do".. and yes, I enjoy the route even with its age showing, although I really liked the look and feel of the last few miles coming into Paddington (51:00).. its Trains and tracks... what's not to like?
The Sales Pitch:
The Great Western Main Line from Oxford to Paddington is a bustling thoroughfare, taking passengers and freight from the west of England into London, and you can drive your own high speed services and freight trains along this busy route in Train Simulator.
The line originally opened way back in the 1830s as part of Brunel’s fantastic Great Western Railway, which was designed to have as few challenging gradients as possible to benefit running speed. Today, the line is one of Britain’s busiest, carrying thousands of commuters every day and handling large amounts of freight. The Oxford-Paddington line in Train Simulator runs from London Paddington to Oxford Station via Reading and includes a variety of modern passenger and freight trains to drive, as well as some challenging scenarios to put your driving skills to the test.

BTW, Just Trains has a 300? mile version of this line that looks pretty good comparing the two.. but it is near $40.00 USD.. seems people like it.. thought I would mention it.. if you didn't know..
10 years out and although I started with a 3rd party route long ago.. I still have yet to get 3rd party products for the most part.. Don't get me wrong.. they usually are better than DTG product.. cost mainly.. DTG is emptying my wallet enough, during sales. Heck, Just trains has a complete collection version that's $90.00 USD!!! Yep, I look.. but I don't touch.. anyways..
