For some reason, I hate not getting the true ending in these games, even when I new game+ them. I'm actually pretty glad I managed to get it on my first go even though it feels pretty easy/natural to get it.

I do think this might be my favourite in the series so far but it's always been a tight race. It's the most streamlined and fun to play game easily. The pacing is tighter not just in terms of the levels but also the story beats are spaced much more eloquently. Still it's hard to say, these games are all just so good that it's like picking a favourite puppy.
