Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Turmoil, part 5! Today we will finish the desert chapter of Turmoil! Before we leave to the next region we need to make sure we will get a good opening. However the problem is that there are not good lands with oil anymore, so we need to work with what we have. Now in Tumroil the left and right inc. always change there prices for the oil. Unless You can do go to the salon and make them put the prices on hold. In turmoil that is a good and a bad tactic at the same time. Good because you don’t have to waste cash on silos and spills will probably wont happen, unless you don’t get enough horse carts. But then again if You freeze the price in Turmoil then You will have to pay a lot of cash and then also worry to make that money back! So in the late game I assume it is better to stick to the silo tactic. Collect oil as much as you can in silos and sell when the price is ok from left or right inc. remember tho that the prices in Turmoil will change during the game but also if You sell a lot of oil to one of the companies then the price will hit the floor! So is more of collect a lot, sell a lot at at the same time. In the end yOu should be able to make more money then the competison in Turmoil. They can try to outbid you on the land as well. That is one of the way of more direct fight with the others in Turmoil. As You can force them to spend a lot of money for the land alone. After doing half of the levels in Desert part of Turmoil the biding for the mayors seat will start. I do belive that the best price at least during the desert. Is to bit around 3000 dollars per one % of the shares of the mayor. This way You should be albe to outbid the completion of Turmoil but also make sure You won’t have to overpay for those shares. Don’t let the Mayor get all the hard earned money from oil selling right! Goal in Turmoil is to make money after all! Not loose money!
Also remember that the upgrades for each of the oil rig will share if you connect a upgraded oil rig in Turmoil to a upgraded one! This one you have to do a quick math what is better to do. Buy another upgrade or dig with the pipe to the upgraded oil rig from a upgraded one. Turmoil is about small differences in money making in a long term it will save You a lot of money. That’s also why You should not relay so heavy on freezeing the prices from the Salon, yes it’s a good thing at last what I thouth at start of Turmoil, but sometimes paying way too much to freeze a low price on the oil on one of the inc. while the other one for free will still pay You more its pointless. progressing is key in turmoil to win, selling high is even more important! For upgrades focus on the dowsers and the pipes first. The silos should come in second just after them. Moles and scanner aren’t nessecery but are very helpful in the later part of turmoil, where rocks are a bigger problem.
