Turn Based Vol. 2 (Full Album)
33Turn Based Vol. 2 is a tribute to 16bit/SNES era JRPGs and a followup (prequel anyone?!) to my 2020 release Turn Based, which was a tribute to 32bit/PS1 era JRPGs! It's a heavy hitting record with little to no keys/synths or anything else, so it has a very live sound to it! Similar to what you'd hear if I were to play this live with a band, until then, I am still working on a way to clone myself x3.
Some of these tracks have appeared in prior RGR releases, but everything here has been re-arranged and re-recorded from the ground up, so I'm confident in saying these definitive version of some tracks you've heard before!
From Final Fantasy favorites, to other hidden gems like Terranigma & Tales of Phantasia, Turn Based Vol. 2 strives to give you a heavy dose of JRPG nostalgia!
