3To get the Clear Gem in this level (which I show in the video) you must beat the level after breaking all 62 boxes. To get the Blue Gem you must beat this level while breaking 0 boxes (which you can see how to do in the video linked below).
You're able to bypass the rat pits in this level by jumping on either the left or right edge of the path. It's a bit tricky because you're not able to move very well, but it's faster than fighting the rats.
