i’m certain that it was aware of us, or at least of Sophie, so let me know if i’m way off base on their senses, or our society’s ability to cure leprosy.
i’ve definitely touched one before with bare hands - so maybe i already got _the leprosy_ and just don’t know it yet - and they always buck and run away, but generally not prior to being touched.
apparently their bucking instinct is why they get killed on the road by cars they’d otherwise be low enough to avoid. so while i’ve got you scientist mans who can answer my turtlepig senses and leprosy questions, also let me know how many more evolution points they’d need to spec out of that behavior, since i bet it kills them more than keeps them alive these days
they also snort like pigs which is pretty good
