I agreed to make this tutorial awhile ago and well here it is, I hope it's helpful.

The Effect Details:

Add these video effects to the smoke:
Color Corrector - studio RGB to computer RGB
Color Corrector - (Keyframe at the start of the clip) Red Midtones, (Keyframe at the end of the clip) Reset to None
Color Curves - (Keyframe at the start of the clip) Infra-Red, (Keyframe at the end of the clip) Reset to None
