Tutorial: How to overclock and tune Samsung Galaxy S GT i9000
Tutorial: How to overclock and tune Samsung Galaxy S GT i9000 based on Helly Bean Rom by DevilTools application.
Live OC 120% i.e. CPU Clock is 1200MHz and PowerVR SGX540 clock is 240MHz (instead 200MHz by default), 408Mb RAM. 20% zRam. It is my everyday settings.
No warranty on successfull overclock! Do not forget that overclock success depends on the particular sample of SGS i9000! No warranty if my phone overclocked without bugs then your pnone also has a same possibilities with my phone!
HellyBean rom required. Link to ROM http://www30.zippyshare.com/v/gbFc4Oyw/file.html

Do not forget about three things:
- set voltage before set LiveOC
- reboot required after change RAM amount
- if you set 439Mb amount of RAM (max available) then phone will be hang on every time then be attempt to playback any videos, youtube, MXplayer, gallery, ingame videos etc.
Some notes:
Color tuning - use RGB Gamma correct to increase contrast image on screen.
Use mDNImode UI mode to sharper image on screen.
Audio Settings - use Headphone amplifier to increase volume in headphones, also use Graphical EQ it is cool feature used i9000 Wolfson W8994 audio chip hardware equalizer (only for headphones out).
It is difference between LiveOC and ordinary overclock. And it big difference. LiveOC overclocks CPU, GPU (PowerVR SGX540) and RAM. Ordinary overclock use only CPU clock.
If you phone restart after LiveOC, then try to increase voltages ARM more:
1000MHz-1400mV,
800MHz-1300MHz,
also increase INT voltages
1000MHz-1250mV
800MHz-1200mV then use LiveOC. But now warranty to stable work of your phone.
