This shit took 3 weeks of my life to throw together. Anyway, here it is. Timestamps below. This tutorial was put together with digital artists in mind to cover all 27 Photoshop blend modes, or layer modes, with visual examples and explanations, of all practical applications. It was easiest to throw together by including what I, as an artist who actually does use these modes regularly, have found myself using them for most, in my 8 years of digital art so far. Hopefully you leave this video with a better understanding of the modes, how they work, and how you can use them for your own art. For anyone curious and reading this far down, everything I used to make this video was Streamlabs OBS to record the footage and Audio with a mic and web camera. VeeSee Face to capture the VTuber. VRoid Studio to MAKE the VTuber. After Effects for the text box animations, title card animations, and special effect overlays. Adobe Media Encoder to re encode the AE exports because Adobe loves its money. Premiere Pro to compile, edit, and export all of the footage and audio, and re time it and add text overlays and all other effects.
