1:06 Demonstration of What I do
1:45 End of What I do
2:00 Start of What the Macro does
2:00 is not a jump cut, it's just the macro doing several things all at around the same time.

The main things I want you to takeaway from this video are: That it can take just 35 seconds to set up something that can automatically record a series of VODs while you're AFK. Right before you go to sleep, or to work, or to school, or afk for a while, you could set up something like this very quickly, right before you leave to go there. 1:09 - 1:45 (35 seconds) shows exactly everything that needs to be done to set it up before going afk. Secondly, these recording don't need to be edited or rendered or encoded before being uploaded to YouTube, they can be uploaded straight to YouTube right after the recording ends with no extra work done to them. Thirdly, I feel that the tools used in this video are simple enough that you don't need any prior experience or knowledge with using them, in order to set them up, so I think this is simple enough that anyone could do it.

This is a kind of low effort quick tutorial that I made in just a day which doesn't really explain everything since it would take a bit longer to explain everything and also there is probably a better way to archive streams with chat than how I do it, but this video does kind of give you a good picture as to how my setup works. If you wanted to replicate my setup you'll probably need to do quite a bit more extra thinking in order to put all the pieces together. If you have a question, ask it here: Also, punctuate at least one sentence in your comment there with a question mark, so it can be filtered.

Additional Information Dump:
watch stream in theater mode with the browser in full screen
you shouldn't ever need to cut part of a video off, just rerecording a stream is usually easier and more-effective than editing a previous recording, however MKVToolNix is a program you can use to cut an mkv video without rendering the video, which will allow you to cut a section off of the end or beginning of a 10 hour video in a couple of minutes instead of hours

Important when testing anything, test it only for a couple minutes instead of a couple hours as to not waste time.Testing how using different video settings in obs changes how the video looks, is a an example of something you could initially test for only a couple minutes.

Written Explanation of what my Macro does:
If pixel 26,34 is color BCBCBC then do everything after the if statement
press the page down key (the hotkey for stopping a stream)
click 26,542 (the browser window)
press ctrl+w (to close the current tab)
press k (to unpause the stream that was paused in what was the next tab)
press page up (hot key for starting stream)
this is the end of the commands which are done when the if statement is true

(also there are short delays between most commands because the macro can bug out sometimes and inputs can sometimes be skipped over if there are no delays at all)
(this macro is designed to record any possible number of streams that could be queued up by leaving them paused at 0:00 in browser tabs, so I can record either 1 or more streams without having to use a separate macro for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 streams in a row. Also an important design choice in the macro's process is that the macro is testing it's ability to detect when a stream ends at the very beginning of it starting. So you can know if the macro will fail just by seeing if it successfully starts recording at the beginning instead of at the end of a 7 hour stream.) Also your macro's settings could be important, mainly the setting for setting infinite playback is what needs to be set in the settings. Something I ended up changing in the future to fix a problem with the macro, was that I gave it the ability to stop recording and stop itself automatically, if it sees the desktop instead of a next stream to record. I originally picked out the macro program used here a long time ago, and it's the only one I've ever tried, you might have an easier time searching for a different macro program to use on your own, rather than trying to use the same program I used. I think you will be better of using the same browser: google chrome, and same recording software: obs, but using the exact same macro program is not necessarily something I would advise doing.
