Tutorial: Playing an Original Xbox with UnleashedX in HD
14Note: An HD AV pack or straight component cables are required to play in HD.
Due to the nature of installing UnleashedX as a softmod the process is more complicated than it would be on standard xbox software, but it's still a pretty easy to follow process.
WRITTEN TUTORIAL:
1.)Open up Text Editor, press 'start' and select 'Save As...'
2.)Save the blank text document as 'E:\NKP11\eeprom_off.bin' (Without the quotations)
3.)Reboot your Xbox
4.)Boot into the MS Dashboard (You can download the .xbe online if your install doesn't have it by default)
5.)Go to settings -- Video and enable the resolutions you want
6.)Reboot into UnleashedX
7.)Go to video settings and enable the resolutions you want
8.)Go to your display settings and change your overscan/underscan if needed (Screen dimensions). UnleashedX seems to have a tendency to try to display to 1258x718 rather than 1280x720 unless you change it.
