Yes, this is the real deal.
Today is, believe it or not, the 10 year anniversary of my very first mashup! To celebrate this occasion, I've FINALLY made a mashup tutorial video.
In this video, I pretty much just show the basics behind how I make a mashup, such as how to find pitches, using the change tempo/speed option, and hearing songs that have different beats. It doesn't focus so much on the ACTUAL process of "mashupping", but rather the sort of things that should be figured out (or at least that I figure out) prior to that process. I plan to make a part 2 tutorial in the future that focuses on the actual process of syncing and matching melodies of songs.
If you'd like to see me in action making mashups, I've done so during streams with Bufosmixes! You can find the playlist of our streams here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM8_Qq5zrBLTdO-UpMxcVJ12Iheqa5pqx (The only warning I would give is that, due to how long ago a lot of these videos are, some of my methods are a bit outdated.)

* Join the Mashup Community Discord server hosted by Bufosmixes and I: https://discord.gg/vVvTS5tGVP

* If you'd like to check out other fellow mashuppers, I do have a list of quite a few on my channel. Some of them take requests as well, so if you really want one, feel free to ask any of them! Just make sure that they're currently taking them, of course.

* If you want to download any of my music, you can use any YouTube to MP3 website.

* Yes, you are allowed to use any song in a video as long as you give me credit!

* Need the BPM or pitch for a song I've used? I have a list right here full of them, which also provides helpful links to where you can find BPMs for any other songs on your own: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pTbOv8Pa-BRzpIP5aDtwYl-KrXdBK5YH4VLuXUplPwU (If you have any questions regarding pitches, feel free to ask me anytime. I'm more than happy to help with that!)

* Every now and then, I come across a song with more than one pitch, sections that don't really fit in with other songs I mix with, or etc. This is why I created a folder of VGM I tweaked into my own version that makes them easier to mix with other music! You can find the folder here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1vooerIRxQhtkj_YupobBpuNy3s_7FH7t
