Tutorial's broken
0Old clip I saved a couple months ago of the XCom 2 tutorial getting softlocked.
The cause seems to be me failing the second mission (I blame a series of poorly timed crits), for which I was supposed to be rewarded an engineer. Then, the game, expecting me to have a newly awarded engineer, wanted me to start an excavation, and disabled exiting out of the menu until such an excavation is made.
But since I didn't actually have an engineer, I couldn't initiate an excavation, meaning I couldn't fulfill the requirement for me to actually exit the menu.
Net result being that I was stuck in the excavation menu, unable to either progress or exit out (had to Alt+f4).
