A Twin Peaks Fan Game is relaunched as Twin Peaks 3D! I always was a little bit disappointed with the shape I left my very first video game release in so here's a little bit of effort to try to make it what it was supposed to be when it launched.
I have updated the title to more reflect the Wolfenstein 3D influence, I've updated the menu, the menu cursor (which is now the symbol from owl cave), I've added Wally Brando as the player character (son of Officer Andy and Lucy Brennan), I've added a brand new text cutscene with Wally explaining how he ends up in the red room, Wally now appears on the HUD, the Great Northern Key now appears on the HUD when you pick it up, the floor pattern has been updated to appear more smooth, a new gun has been added with a firing animation instead of the crappy template gun I used before, ammo/coffee (health)/laura's diary (treasure) have all had their sprites updated to clean up pixels. There's probably more I'm forgetting but this is a massive overhaul for this game.
I still need to fix the sprite for the Great Northern Key (I thought I fixed it but apparently I only corrected it on the HUD, not before you pick it up while it's laying on the floor). I also need to fix Killer Bob's animations as something is off with them. And later in 2022, I hope to add levels 2 and 3 with Leo Johnson and Windom Earle. Keep a lookout for updates later in 2022!
