After a lovely song of Frozen's Let it go by the twins (a daily happening) we were on our way to the Grucci Fireworks show. The girls were dressed to impress, and it was late after a long day, so the twinsanity was apparent in parts due to exhaustion, but they did enjoy the show. Last year they were a bit frightened.
They dance, they play, Annie the perfectionist fights to keep the beach mat we used to sit on absolutely perfect. She's a total neat freak. It's pretty adorable. Allie (as you can see) is not, as she does rounoffs and attempts at handsprings right onto the blanket and Annie needs start over again and again. Poor Annie. They find interesting ways to put their glow sticks to good use and make jewelry and such out of them.
Hopefully, it won't rain today for our family festivities and neighborhood fireworks due to the hurricane further down the east coast. ((FINGER'S CROSSED.)) Praying we all get a nice 4th of July today! Come back soon friends for more Annie, Allie & Mikayla.
