TWITCH CHANNEL POINTS SETUP TUTORIAL:
To set up Twitch channel points on your channel, go to your Twitch dashboard. Navigate to the top left menu, click Community, and click Channel Points. Click "Enable Channel Points" to enable channel points on your Twitch channel.
Customize the name of your Twitch channel points by clicking on "Customize Points Display." Now you can rename your Twitch channel points.
To change your Twitch channel points rewards, click on "Change Rewards." If you are wondering how to add custom Twitch channel points rewards, this where you do it.
CHANNEL POINTS GUIDE:
Twitch channel points are a customizable loyalty system for Twitch Partners and Affiliates. It allows the streamer to set up custom rewards that viewers can redeem with points they've earned by watching the stream.
HOW TO SET UP TWITCH CHANNEL POINTS ALERTS:
First install the latest VC++ Redistributable and the NEW Edge browser.
Then Add both .dll files to the obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit folder in your OBS install location.
Then add a Channel Points Display source to your scene.
In the properties section of the source:
Set the Channel Name to the same as your streaming channel name.
Increase the number of redemptions if required (must click OK and re-open the properties to update the list).
Set the Redemption Title to the same as the redemption that will activate the image display.
Set the Media Folder to the directory that will be used for the random media files.
Modify the Media Extensions (semicolon delimited list), Fade Duration, and Show Duration as desired.
The plugin will automatically create an image source named _cpd_image. Do not rename this since the plugin relies on the name.
Move and resize the _cpd_image as desired to have the image display in the correct location.
Only create one Channel Points Display source, it will unlikely work with more than one.
