This was streamed the night the game came out. As a big fan of the series (especially 2), this was a pretty highly anticipated game of mine. And I'll just be completely honest from the beginning here - I was kind of let down by it. It's hard to say exactly why. I wasn't a huge fan of the dog mechanics, but there's nothing really wrong with them, it's just different. I do really wish the game hadn't incorporated the various side modes into the main game itself. I preferred just having them separate. Again, couldn't tell you exactly why. I could have also done without the constant talking to people between days, and even though the upgrade system sounds cool on paper, I don't think it really added much.

This was also the game that solidified my new stance of "I probably shouldn't stream or record new games completely blind", because I think it tends to hurt my opinion on them. I can't play them at my own pace, and the pressure to have something to talk about while playing it can be distracting. If I had played this on my own instead of streaming it, I may have liked it better, and it makes me sad to think that I might have missed out on that.

Anyway, there's 9 parts of this, and I'll try to put them up regularly. I tend to upload streams at a glacial pace, and I swear that's not intentional. I usually just forget to do it, and I also try to stay conscious of how often I'm uploading multi-hour videos so it doesn't create too much of a backlog for people watching through them.
