Two Angry Goofballs Rage At Me For Defending Myself | GTA Online
Two angry players named 23telezet and naizt1e attack me out of nowhere, then proceed to employ damage control tactics over the in-game text chat. They also proceed to point out that they don't care about getting kills in this game, only to end up arguing with me for over half an hour about it.
Skip to 13:01 for the best bits. Any parts from before this point simply just add extra context to the video.
I thought I'd add these extra notes here with my final thoughts on this video. So, I use mods in GTA Online. Should I using them? No. Should other players be using them? No, not at all. However, myself and many other players do encounter modders who use mods to grief. I do not use mods to grief or attack randoms. An exception to this would be, for instance, if someone was trying to grief a lobby or destroy someone's cargo, in which case I would attack the aggressor. I also use mods to mess with other modders, but only if they're griefing. As a last resort, to continue playing the game on PC and actually enjoy my experience, my hand is kind of being forced here to the point where I have to use mods. I play missions regularly and don't use mods to boost money or RP, though other modders might spam myself and other players with money or RP drops, which is out of my control. My blip on the minimap was red throughout the video (which indicates a high Mental State in-game) due to me engaging in PvP with a modder in a previous lobby.
With regards to mods in GTA Online and modders using them in PvP, there are no winners to be had. Nothing's there to be won, especially as we're talking about kills in a video game. Whenever mods or glitches are involved (which, I might add, can be difficult to prove that they're NOT being used, in some cases), the score is void. Kills are void. None of it means anything. Using mods or glitches that give you an advantage in PvP do not require one's skill. The mods that I use in this video are the same and I'm not out here pretending I'm skilled at PvP or anything of the sort. For the most part, I just collect cars, make money and make videos that entertain. Nothing more.
With all of that said, back to the video... These two attacked me first. I didn't even know they were trying to attack me based on 23telezet's failed attempt at taking me out with a car that he found on the street. As you'll see in the video, they both proceed to use the common "but you're modding" crutch argument, but as I've explained above, my hand is being forced quite a bit in that regard. I'd prefer to not use mods Sure, I could just play on console again, but why migrate to another platform just because griefers/some modders want to ruin the fun? They're not annoyed that I was modding at all. The average player on this game would give a lot for a mod menu. These two were really annoyed at the fact that they couldn't get their way in a video game, of all things. To add to that, even they know they're wrong with what they're saying. They shouldn't even be on the game, but I digress. The bottom line is that despite how much of a burden to the playerbase, encountering them made for an entertaining video. I truly hope they focus their energy into more productive hobbies, but I might have just a bit too much faith if I was to hope for that.
Placing a bounty on a player who's ghosted to you will let you kill them again; tried it towards the end of the vid.
Please refrain from sending hate to anyone in the video, even if they are acting foolish. If they want to project their negativity onto others, then it's their problem.
Please don't ask me for what mods I use. I will not be posting links or advising viewers about modding in GTA Online. Any requests for such information will not be replied to.
