You can't write this stuff, well with them being self-proclaimed journalists. It's rather odd they also are entire incapable of writing this stuff themselves. Turns out one of the fools knows the gunman has fled the scene (which I doubt), but he then actively proceeds to not inform the officers on the scene with this rather life saving and critical piece of information. While claims he tried everything to inform the police beforehand...

Just because he got sent off the active crime scene and found the cop a bit rude. Withholding information like could be considered a crime in and of itself TBH
