alright FINALLY doing some streaming here also i got less than 3 hours of sleep hey

i've been planning on doing a series on all the wii u games i need to finish, so here we go! decided to start things off with mario kart 8, since i only have to triple star a couple 200cc cups and get a few more coins for the gold glider (previously streamed this on twitch, and kept coming THIS CLOSE to finishing one of them off, but i know i can do it so the only thing i can do is keep trying). i've had mario kart 8 deluxe for like a year and a half or something, but i refuse to even open it until i finish the original so it'll be nice to not have it just lying around anymore

future games i plan on playing for this series are hinted at by the silhouettes shown over where the chat is. you can also check out my backloggery to see what i have left to play, though keep in mind i'm not planning on playing EVERY unfinished game on there (i think the silhouettes pretty much cover the ones i plan on doing)

also: wii games are included in this because i've never had a wii, so all my wii games were played on my wii u--might as well lump them together

may or may not take suggestions on what to play next--i have my own priorities, like i want to get through the metroid prime trilogy before mp4 comes out so that might be one of the next ones

i will probably do other streams--i do have a switch i can capture from, after all (and a gamecube but i don't have a lot of games for it)--so watch out for that. splatfests and party crashes COULD happen, but i work on weekends and i also kind of can't really give proper commentary if my mom and/or stepdad are home because some kind of subconscious social anxiety barrier sets in (i've tried, and i'm mostly just silent, really quiet when i do talk, and generally much less expressive)

i'm pretty new to streaming (only streamed on twitch like, 3 times?) and also new to making youtube videos, so feel free to give some constructive criticism. i've been thinking about getting a new mic finally, i'm aware headsets aren't ideal but i already had this one (but now i've had it for like, almost a decade, so it's probably time for something new)

and if you noticed the sock tied to my headphones and were wondering about that it's because there's no padding up there so after a year or two of using these i noticed my head hurt and felt a little bump up there, so i tied a wool sock onto it as a temporary solution since i really like these headphones otherwise ("temporary" i say after probably like over 2 months)
